Bring your love of food and your longing to write and join the editor of Edible Columbus, as she introduces you to the world of food writing. Learn about famous food writers from the past, how to develop your voice as a food writer, what publishing platforms accept unsolicited submissions, and how to pitch ideas and pave your path to getting published. All levels welcome.
Instructor: Colleen Leonardi is a writer, editor, and managing editor of Edible Columbus, a member of Edible Communities, Inc., and winner of the James Beard Publication of the Year Award in 2011. She holds an M.F.A. from The Ohio State University and a B.A. from Bennington College.

The Spring 2017 Adult Writing Workshops run for six Mondays from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Thurber Center, 91 Jefferson Avenue. You can attend as many as you like. Classes are $45 each, or $40 each if you choose three or more. Must be 18 to participate.
