Writing Mediation for Story Development Using Play:
A Master Class with Professional Storyteller Kevin Cordi, Ph.D.
As writers, we often ask for help when a story is finished. However, this is not always the most productive way to work on a story. Why not play with ideas as the story is shaping up? There is much to be gained by using spoken/written proven playful exercises.
For this master class, bring a story or a story idea that is not fixed, but instead is one that you want to play with in the company and support of others. It can simply be a story spark that we will help ignite. Using methods not common in writing circles, learn how you can find deep listeners of your narrative and methods for story mediation for your work. During this time, we will actively engage in shaping and re-shaping your story ideas. You will walk out not with one direction, but many for your story.
Learn how you can expand the goals of your work by giving yourself "permission to play." Award-winning professional storyteller and writing coach Kevin Cordi, Ph.D. welcomes both new and experienced writers to this class.
