Animate It! Forces of Nature

What would it be like to get caught in a monstrous storm? We'll write our very own nature survival stories and animate them with iPad technology. With a little help from our creativity, trusty craft supplies, and iPads, our ideas will come to life on the big screen. This program is open to all 4th-6th graders and is free to the public.

Harmonize It! Poetry and Jazz of the Harlem Renaissance

Join Thurber House in partnership with Jazz Arts Group (JAG) for a workshop full of jazz, poetry, and imagination. In celebration of JAG's "Songs and Sounds of the Harlem Renaissance" event on February 18th, come out to learn more about the music and poetry of the era and even create some of your own! Complete with live music demonstrations, historical presentations, and writing activities, this workshop is one you won't want to miss. All ages 13 and older are invited to attend this free program.
