Thurber House offers year-round internships to high school and college students. Our interns gain valuable experience in arts administration and event planning. Though our internships are unpaid, interns may receive class credit.

Internships at Thurber House are unique. We cater our program to meet the needs and interests of each student. Strong applicants will have a demonstrated interest in literature and the arts, as well as the ability to work well in a team setting. Familiarity with computers is required, including knowledge of or willingness to be trained in Word, Excel, and FileMaker. We also require experience conducting research on the Internet. Course work in arts administration or experience in the arts is a plus. A sense of humor helps, too!
