Central Ohio Fiction Writers
The Central Ohio Fiction Writers (COFW) is a nonprofit professional association for writers of all fiction genres. Members provide a networking system to share knowledge and support the goal of becoming published. In addition, COFW is a chapter of the national Romance Writers of America (RWA).

Central Ohio Writers of Literature for Children
The Writing for Children conference is held annually in April. Conference is geared to both writers of children's literature and to teacher who wish to help their students write. Conference features regional and national talents in the field of children's literature.

Central Ohio Writing
Literary magazine for central Ohio writers. Also publishes monthly literary events newsletter.

Columbus Writer's Conference
This annual conference brings in national and regional speakers on a range of writing topics.

A Company of Writers – Contact, Estelle Silberman
A peer-led writing group that meets the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Tremont Road library in Upper Arlington. Open to all genres.

Downtown Writers Network
A Columbus-based Web site that serves a clearinghouse of information for writers. Downtown Writers also offers workshops and programs, including nonfiction and fiction writing groups.

Dublin Arts Council
Offers writing workshops and creativity classes.

The Pudding House Writers Innovation Center
This Johnstown, Ohio-based writer's center and bed and breakfast offers regular workshops. Classes include a poetry reading/performance/delivery workshop.

Upper Arlington's LifeLong Learning and Leisure
Features classes for writers.

The Writer's Bloc, c/o The Thurber House, 614-464-1032
This group of central Ohio writers regularly has speakers, social events and networking opportunities for writers and editors. Events are usually held at the Thurber Center, 91 Jefferson Ave. While Thurber House does not run this program, they are happy to pass along the most current contact information.

Writeshop
A writer's workshop group that focuses on science fiction, fantasy, and horror.
