Sidney Blumenthal is the former assistant and senior adviser to President Bill Clinton, and senior adviser to Hillary Clinton. He has been a national staff reporter for The Washington Post, Washington editor and staff writer for The New Yorker, senior writer for The New Republic, and has contributed to numerous additional publications.

His books include bestseller The Clinton Wars, The Rise of the Counter-Establishment, and The Permanent Campaign. He was the executive producer of the Academy Award- and Emmy award-winning Taxi to the Dark Side. He’s currently writing a multi-volume biography about the political life of Abraham Lincoln. Wrestling with His Angel covers 1849-1856. The first volume, A Self-Made Man, covers 1809-1849.

Tickets are available for the reading only for $40, or you may purchase a ticket to the reading and a copy of Wrestling with His Angel for $60. Books will be available for pickup at the event.
