The New York Public Library is commemorating the quasquicentennial of James Thurber’s birth!

One of America’s most celebrated authors and humorists, Thurber was best known for his cartoons and short stories, many published in The New Yorker.

Join writer and editor Michael J. Rosen, founding literary director of Thurber House, to discuss a new edition of Collected Fables, containing many of Thurber’s timely and timeless stories as well as previously unpublished material. This event is a must-attend for history buffs and literature lovers!
