Flip the Page: Central Ohio's Teen Literary Journal

Flip the Page is written, staffed, and produced by Central Ohio teens who have a passion for creating and sharing their work with others. Our mission is to provide a showcase for the work of young local writers and offer opportunities to learn about everything that goes into a publication, from the submission process, to critique, editorial design, and the final printed publication of the journal. All accepted writers and artists receive a complimentary copy of the journal, which is sold on Amazon. Flip the Page is a great way for young writers to find a community that is full of support and inspiration. Submissions are juried by a committee of teen writers from Thurber House's Young Writers' Studio and past Flip the Page publsihed authors.

Submissions for this year’s edition are closed. If you submitted writing or artwork, you will be notified in May and the journal will be available in early June. We will open for 2025's edition in November!

Flip the Page is a free program. Questions about Flip the Page? Email Katie Warner at kwarner@thurberhouse.org.
