About The Event
Our popular Book Bar returns this July at Antiques on High’s indoor/outdoor rooftop hideaway! Join us for an easygoing, social night made for book lovers who want to mingle, read, or do a little of both.
Grab a drink, enjoy buffet-style appetizers, and settle in for good conversation and cozy vibes. Whether you come with friends or on your own, Book Bar is all about community, curiosity, and connecting over books.
Each ticket includes admission, one standard drink, and appetizers. Guests can also opt for an Event + Blind Date Book Bundle, which includes a surprise “Blind Date” book along with admission, one drink, and appetizers.
Space is limited, so snag your ticket early and join us for a relaxed, bookish summer night out!
Note: This is an adult-only event. All guests must be 21 or older.

Psst… do you have new or gently used books that you don’t want? Consider bringing them to the Book Bar to leave in our book donation box. We’ll re-home them through our Little Free Library, our museum store, and future Book Bars.

Event Schedule
‣ Doors Open at Antiques on High | 6:00 pm
Arrive at Antiques on High (714 S High St, Columbus, OH 43206) to check in, grab your standard drink voucher, and enjoy buffet-style appetizers. If you’ve purchased the book bundle ticket, you can pick up your “Blind Date” book during this time. Once you’re all set, find a cozy spot to settle in on the beautiful indoor/outdoor rooftop hideaway!
‣ Book Bar Main Event | 6:30-8:00 pm
Enjoy a relaxed evening of reading, eating, and mingling with fellow book lovers! Bring your own book to read or pick from our carefully curated “Blind Date” books, and settle in for a cozy night of shared literary joy! Every ticket includes appetizers and one standard drink. Whether you’re here for the books, the drinks, or the company, it’s the perfect setting to meet other local book lovers!

‣ Event + Blind Date Book Bundle | $40
This ticket includes admission to the event, one randomly selected “Blind Date” book, appetizers, and one standard drink voucher.
Parking
Antiques on High is surrounded by ample non-metered street parking. Make sure to read the signs carefully for parking restrictions.
Pro tip: Consider carpooling or ridesharing from a convenient location, such as the free parking on Jefferson Avenue by Thurber House, which has no time restriction in the evening.
Accessibility
Antiques on High’s rooftop hideaway is accessible via either stairs or elevator.

You will receive an email order confirmation containing your ticket(s). For expedited check in, you can print or show your ticket(s) on your phone. If you are unable to do so, we will manually check you in.

Yes, bathrooms will be available.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. However, you can give your spot to a friend, family member, colleague, etc. if you cannot attend. Contact us to transfer a registration.

The total ticket price includes the Columbus Arts and Culture Fee as required by the City of Columbus. The Arts and Culture Fee provides public funds to support artists and arts/cultural organizations like Thurber House that educate and engage audiences of all ages. Click here for more information.
